Studio Hire
Lower Street Studios is offered as a studio space hire only. Photographers, videographers, and content creators are not included in the studio hire price.
If you require creative support, we have a directory of talented local photographers and content creators that we are happy to recommend. Please drop us a message on our contact form and we'll send the directory to you.
Arrival and Booking Times
Your booking time includes setup and pack down, so please plan your session accordingly. Each booking includes a additional 15 minute buffer either side of your session to allow time for unloading equipment, packing away and returning to your vehicle. Please ensure the studio is fully cleared and clean for the next guest by the end of your booking time. If the studio is still occupied after your booking time ends, additional time may be charged in line with the studio’s hourly hire rate. e.g. Booking time 9am-10am, collect key from 8.45am and return by 10.15am.
Access to the studio
The studio operates a self-entry system. the day before your booking you will receive instructions explaining how to access the building and collect the studio key.
Parking
There is no parking directly outside the studio. You're welcome to pull up and unload on the main road however the vehicle must be moved straight away to respect our neighbours and their businesses. Unit 4 shutters must never be blocked. Nearby parking options are available including local car parks and residential streets.
Accessibility
Please note the studio does not have disabled access, as it is located upstairs.
Payment
Payment is required when booking through our online system. The card used to make the booking will be securely stored within our card capture system. No deposit payment will be taken in advance, however the card on file will be charged if...
• Additional cleaning is required
• Equipment is damaged or missing
• The studio is left in an unsuitable condition
Studio Care and Damages
We kindly ask that the studio is left in the same condition it was found. Any damage to the studio, furniture, equipment, or missing items will be charged at repair or replacement cost to the card on file. If the studio is left excessively dirty or requires additional cleaning, a minimum cleaning fee of £100 will be applied. All we ask is any rubbish is put in the bins provided, props and borrowed products are put back to their original place, any branding is removed from mirrors and all debris from styling materials (such as confetti, paper or petals) is cleared before leaving.
Food and Drink
Food and drink are permitted within the studio; however we kindly ask guests to take extra care around furniture, backdrops and equipment. Any spills or stains that require professional cleaning may incur a cleaning charge.
Children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Noise and Neighbours
Lower Street Studios is located within a shared building. We kindly ask all guests to keep noise levels respectful, particularly when moving through communal areas. Please ensure the communal corridor remains clear so neighbouring units can access their spaces at all times.
Outdoor Shooting
Outdoor shooting is currently prohibited until further notice.
Studio Equipment
Each studio includes a selection of lighting equipment and accessories for use during your session.
